There is definitely an overwhelming emphasis on consistency but I feel that’s in large part motivated by people selling courses - what better way to practice consistency than via a structured class? - and business entities that rely on regular posts in order for their businesses to stay viable (hey Medium :-P) .

It would be so refreshing if it was more common for successful writers to share guidance on the process of refinement as opposed to telling dreamers to just keep at it.
